Back when I was studying architecture at Rhode Island School of Design, a practicing architect was brough it to give us a critique. He blistered me accurately and correctly. It was the excuse I was looking for to transfer to the painting department. But what to do with my love for buildings? Probing for a way to get at it, that’s how I think about my ceramics: miniature buildings.
